I launched this blog a couple weeks ago, and within 24 hours - no kidding - I found out the yarn that I had been using for over a year to make diaper covers was being discontinued!!! I spent hours and more hours on the computer scouring yarn shops, and I finally found a replacement brand!
Whew! BUT...
That's not the point of this post. The point is: I had three whole skeins of girly colors in my discontinued yarn, and no "main" color to work with, so I took the lilac and sprout (two of my favorites),
and made a striped diaper cover!
The cover is made from 100% fine merino, and is a size small. It is made to be worn over cloth diapers, but makes a cute cover for disposables as well! Wool is a fantastic fiber that keeps baby warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and this merino is SOFT!
When I finished I thought, Wow! I'm coming up on my one-year anniversary writing Confessions of Super Mommy! I should make this cover a Giveaway!
So I did!
